Privacy at NoDopa
Your focus should stay yours.
NoDopa is focus software, not surveillance software. Core protection stays in your browser; hosted features are optional and explained before they run.
The short version
Clear boundaries, explained plainly.
Core protection stays local
Settings, local rules, focus sessions, progress, Learning Queue items, notes, saved overrides, and cached decisions use Chrome local storage. You can use local protection without an account.
An account is optional for core focus
If you sign in, NoDopa processes the account details and selected focus data needed for authentication, entitlement, and backup. Backup starts after sign-in and can be paused in Settings. NoDopa never receives your Google password.
Limited product usage events
The extension sends a random installation ID, its version, and a small set of product events to Supabase, even without sign-in. These events do not include URLs, domains, page content, notes, or focus goals. See the full policy for deletion options.
Smart Focus runs only when eligible and enabled
Hosted checks may send limited current-page context—such as the URL or domain, title, short visible-text snippet, headings, metadata, and your focus goal—to compare the page with your intention. Passwords, cookies, private form entries, screenshots, messages, and full browsing history are not intentionally sent.
Card details stay with the payment provider
Dodo Payments handles checkout, tax, invoices, and subscription management. NoDopa stores the identifiers and subscription state needed to provide Pro access, not your card number.
No passive surveillance business model
NoDopa does not sell personal data, use it for advertising, determine creditworthiness, or provide activity reports to employers, parents, or schools.
